What is ClearCorrect?
ClearCorrect is a clear aligner system used to straighten your teeth as an alternative to braces. A series of clear custom-made plastic removable aligners gently apply pressure and guide your teeth into the desired position. ClearCorrect aligners are worn all the time but should be removed for eating, drinking and brushing your teeth.
How long does it take?
Treatment time can vary from a few months to a few years depending on the complexity of your case. Your dentist will be able to give you an approximate indication.
How often will I need to come in for an appointment?
It depends on your treatment plan, but you will be required to attend periodic appointments with your dentist to check your progress and to give you your next series of aligners. A new aligner is worn every 1 or 2 weeks for the duration of your treatment.
Will it hurt?
As with all orthodontic treatment, some patients can experience some mild discomfort. This will be fully discussed during your consultation appointment.
Will the aligner affect my speech?
You may speak with a slight lisp whilst your tongue adjusts to the aligners, this will take a few days. ClearCorrect aligners are discreet and should not impact your daily life.
Am I suitable for ClearCorrect?
As long as your teeth are present and healthy then you should be a suitable candidate for ClearCorrect. Most patients need an appointment with the hygienist before starting treatment. If you have a strong gag reflex or do not think you can commit to wearing the aligners for at least 22 hours per day, then we should discuss alternative options. There are some cases where ClearCorrect is not suitable such as complex bite problems or severe crowding, if this is the case, your dentist will be able to discuss your next steps.
How do I get started?
We simply need to see you for a consultation to check everything is nice and healthy. We then take an impression/digital scan of your teeth and submit that to ClearCorrect for your Treatment Setup. This will include a 3d simulation of what your teeth will look like. Once you are happy with the proposed treatment, we approve the case and your aligners will be with us within a few weeks.

Do you offer finance?
Yes, we offer 12 months 0% interest free finance up to £5000. We have teamed with Tabeo Finance to offer financial repayment packages to suit your individual needs.
